Fraternal symbols on Time covers 18: Darkside of the Sun

Feb 2 1970

The Dark Side of the Sun

"Aton is, as we have demonstrated, Jehovah. And Jehovah is the Phoenician-Persian Yawnah, the Welsh Jawnah, the English Jon, meaning "sun." Aton is Adni or Agni, the Sun-Lord of the Hindus. He is Don of the ancient Celts and Phoenicians. The latter had founded the cities of Thebes and Avaris in Egypt. The Druids at these cities, and at other locations, brought the world the Solar Theocracy, one which was corrupted later into Atonism and into Judeo-Christianity. Akhenaton not only brought political havoc to his country, he brought theological havoc to the world of religious ideas also. He and his coterie, the "Brotherhood of the Snake" (Bramley), did not worship light in the manner of the Druids. Their understanding of the sun and of light was not akin to that which we possess today. Judeo-Christianity is the child of Atonism, and is also controlled by those elites, involved in the worship of the dark side of the sun. Another word for this kind of worship, that a true Christian might use, is Luciferianism. Lucifer is a god of light, or rather, of the dark side of light. The secret fraternities, which preserve the most antique doctrines of the Chaldeans, Druids and Medes, are also responsible for turning the gnosis of light into a travesty, in order to deceive the human race and cause metaphysical incongruence. If one was to say that Aton was Lucifer, they would not be too wrong. If one was to say that Jehovah was Lucifer, the Martian god of light and war, they would also be correct"

The Symbol of the Black Sun

The term Black Sun is of esoteric or occult significance. It has been used by a variety of esotericists; for example, as the name of the well-known Black Sun Press of Mary Phelps Jacob, as well as in the in lyrics of the experimental music groups Coil, Death In June and as the title of a song by Dead Can Dance.

It also figures prominently as a symbol in Nazi mysticism. The shape of the symbol as used in Neo-Nazism is based on the design of a floor mosaic at Wewelsburg castle, in the room used by the SS for occult meetings. Due to the sunwheel motif and that the symbol can be deconstructed into three swastikas; a 'rising', a 'zenith' & a 'setting' one, the design is popular among German Neo-Nazis as a replacement for the outlawed singular swastika symbol. It is also used by various apolitical organizations for aesthetic and cultural purposes.

It is not known whether or not this symbol was placed in the floor at Wewelsburg before or after the National Socialist Regime and the taking over of the castle by Himmler.

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 17: Spider's Web

The masses dangling from Stalins web emanating from his pentagram third eye!

Who's web is this? Who is the spider?

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 16: Promethean Flame

The Olympic Flame, Olympic Fire, Olympic Torch, Olympic Light, Olympic Eye, and Olympic Sun is a symbol of the Olympic Games. Commemorating the theft of fire from the Greek god Zeus by Prometheus, its origins lie in ancient Greece, when a fire was kept burning throughout the celebration of the ancient Olympics. The fire was reintroduced at the Olympics in 1928, and it has been part of the modern Olympic Games ever since. The modern torch relay was introduced by Carl Diem, president of the Organisation Committee for the Berlin Games of 1936, as part of an effort to turn the games into a glorification of the Third Reich.[1] Despite its origin, the torch ceremony is still practised as of 2006.

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 14: Lamp of Learning

The Masonic lamp of learning, their symbol of knowledge.

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 13: Third Eye & Caduceus

I really like this one. An innocent image of a happy grain silo? More like an encrypted reference to divine illumination!
The ladder extends from the base right up to the window, Asjna chakra (third eye) which leads the being to experience bliss. The anthropomorphized silo is even floating through the heavens. Pretty clever.
This is no more than a well disguised caduceus.

The serpent energy is generated at the base of the spine and sent up through the body, spine (the ladder) and lower chakras up to the brain and specifically the pineal gland (third eye/window). Represented in the caduceus by the disc at the top of the staff. The wings represent the brain which now lit up with prana (orgone, or what ever) is flying in Gods domain (through the heavens like the image above). The caduceus is a theme strongly represented in Time Magazine covers and will be highlighted on this blog soon. We will see how this connects with DNA, genetic engineering and the garden of Eden/Atlantis story. Themes which are all well represented on Time covers!

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 12: Holy Grail & Lamen

March 6 1950

One hand holds the cross the other reverently offers the holy chalice...

July 11 1955

Thinly veiled fertility reference. The sun beaming down, the birds (using the actual dove would probably have been to overt) drinking from the cup.

See how the sun in the second Time image is the eye of Aten and the bird (Robin? No, actually they are Cardinals I am told) is the dove above the grail? Get the picture my friends? A perfectly clever representation of the O.T.O lamen pictured above. Wow! We could probably go even further and say that the baseball bat and ball is the male member while the cup is the female.

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 11: Compass

See the compass hovering over the "brotherly" handshake?

Here is another compass with a square and a pendulum this time on Esquire.

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 10: Obelisk

May 1 1939 (May Day! Happy 163 Birthday Illuminati!)

Sep 22 1952

The phallic Egyptian Obelisk is believed by many to be an adopted symbol of Freemasonry. This seems hardly a stretch when considering many masons trace their fraternity's origins to ancient Egypt. The obelisk I believe analogous to the pillar and in the bottom two images one can also see the globe, another Masonic symbol. In the top image we have burning candles, again Masonic and in the second a bird with outstretched wings probably derived from the Assyrian/Egyptian winged solar disc.

The winged orb inspiring many fraternal symbols, most famously in the zeitgeist at this moment the American Bald Eagle (debatable, Manly P. Hall suggests its a phoenix) on the front of the Great Seal which is seen on the back of the dollar bill.

This of course raises interesting questions about the real meaning of the giant 555 ft obelisk in the capital of the USA, the Washington Monument...
In my mind it lends allot of weight to the idea that America is seen by the elite in the mystery schools (remembering that many top government rich white dudes are members of these) as Francis Bacons' "New Atlantis". You can watch a rather good conspiracy documentary on this subject on Google Video "Secret Mysteries of America's Beginnings".

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 9: Triangle

Oct 3 1949

The triangle and square which are most often used in masonry in their most famous symbol, the compass and the square, can be seen in the top image. For more on the significance of this see this link.

If you look closely at the top image you will even see the phallic Egyptian obelisk inside the triangle!

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 8: Owl

Time Magazine June 23 1967

Here for your enjoyment I bring you Alex Jones' favorite giant stone owl. Molech, Bohemian Grove bird of doom on the cover of Time Magazine!

But seriously, the owl is, according to Jordan Maxwell, a symbol of secret societies because of it's connection to wisdom. It also sees in the dark, where as we (the trembling masses) are blind, and all that elitist jazz.
I even managed to find a copy of this particular Time yesterday at a second hand store and can confirm that the referring to fraternal doings isn't limited to the cover of Time but, in this case at least, extends to the interior pages. The cover article is about Kingman Brewster Jr. who was the President of Yale at the time of publication. In the article we read "Among the things that Brewster found absurd were Yale's secret societies and fraternities. Rebelliously anti-Establishment, he turned down a tap from Skull and Bones, declined the presidency of Zeta Psi fraternity and attacked those institutions of privilege in Daily News editorials. He also wrote that... girls should not wear slacks: "The woman of Wellesley, Smith and Vassar must be deprived of their pants"

Other than the giant owl of Bohemia many believe that the owl is also hidden on the Dollar bill and in the street plan of Washington DC. To decide for yourself check out the argument at Alex Jones Prison Planet. Link below

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 7: Rose and Bee

Time Magazine August 24 1953

The fraternal symbol of the rose features heavily in the peak period of Masonic symbolism on Time Magazine covers (roughly 1945-1955). The symbol is connected to the 18th degree of Scottish right Freemasonry (18° Knight of the Rose Croix) which is connected to Rosicrutionism.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosicrucian#Alleged_Influence_on_Freemasonry
Check out the one that even has a bee, another symbol of masonry!
"The bee and the hive have long been symbols of industry and regeneration, wisdom and obedience, with a place in Egyptian, Roman and Christian symbolism. The hive is often seen in Masonic illustrations of the 18th and 19th century and both Clovis and Napoleon adopted the bee as their symbol. Although "the bee was among the Egyptians the symbol of an obedient people, because, says Horapollo, 'of all insects, the bee alone had a king.'1, its use in Freemasonry was secondary to any number of other symbols based on the working tools of a stone mason."
http://freemasonry.bcy.ca/symbolism/bees.html
Another interpretation of the rose could be the idea of secrecy as in "Sub Rosa"
sub rosa \suhb-ROH-zuh\,
adverb:1. Secretly; privately; confidentially.
adjective:1. Designed to be secret or confidential; secretive; private

Sub rosa comes from the Latin, literally "under the rose," from the ancient association of the rose with confidentiality, the origin of which traces to a famous story in which Cupid gave Harpocrates, the god of silence, a rose to bribe him not to betray the confidence of Venus. Hence the ceilings of Roman banquet-rooms were decorated with roses to remind guests that what was spoken sub vino (under the influence of wine) was also sub rosa.

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 6: East

Time Magazine May 19 1952

On this cover we see the cardinal points arranged with East in the top position where North would usually be. Masons do the same on there Tracing Boards. East is where the sun rises, the all important over arching theme found ubiquitously in Masonry, veneration of the sun. Interestingly the East spoke crosses the word news which is an amalgamation of the first letters of the four cardinal points.

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 5: Keystone

"the first three degrees are but the outer court of the Temple. Part of the symbols are displayed there to the Initiate, but he is intentionally mislead by false interpretations. It is not intended that he shall understand them; but it is intended that he shall imagine he understand them... it is well enough for the mass of those called Masons to imagine that all is contained in the Blue Degrees" (Albert Pike "Morals and Dogma", p.819).

Fraternal symbols on Time covers 4: Hermes

Hermes? Of course it's Hermes!
More fraternal images on a major news providers front page. I will keep adding many new ones over the course of the next few days.
